Do not go Gentle and Brothel Music were not written for the layman. In the hands of professionals they can sound however exquisite. While the first work doesn't have a preface, Brothel Music has actually two, a quasi private one by Lars Falk and a general one, in which the composer points out, that Boulez once described Messiaen's music as «Brothel Music», meant positively: Sumptuous music as opposed to «cerebral music».
